Arsenal handed update on Georginio Wijnaldum transfer

Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing PSG midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum this January. The Dutchman left Liverpool for PSG in the summer on a free transfer but all has not gone to plan in the French capital. He has struggled to nail down a regular starting spot in Mauricio Pochettino's side and has admitted he is not completely happy with the situation. According to reports, Arsenal were one of the first clubs to reportedly register their interest in the signing on a short-term deal, but all will depend on whether PSG will be happy to let him go. FourFourTwo have also reported that a 'shock' deal is set to go through in the coming days that will see Wijnaldum move to the Emirates Stadium for the remainder of the season.
