Antonio Conte has admitted that Steven Bergwijn will feature for Tottenham's Premier League match against Leicester City.
The Italian manager claimed that Bergwijn was already included in the Lilywhites' squad for the postponed Arsenal match. At that time, though, he was not fully fit to be in the starting XI.
When being asked about the Dutch professional, Conte told
the Tottenham app:
“Bergwijn, yes. Bergwijn has recovered from his calf injury, but he was already in the squad against Arsenal.”
Spurs are currently sitting in 6th place in the Premier League table with 33 points. They are set to face the Foxes on Wednesday.
