Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has opened up on what he expects from Takumi Minamino at the club.
Minamino has joined the Reds from Salzburg this January. He came on for the club after Sadio Mane was ruled out of the game after suffering a "muscle tweak" during the 2 - 1 win over the Wolves.
The Japanese international is carrying a slight injury. However, he came on and "fought like crazy", according to Klopp. That's exactly what Liverpool manager is expecting to see from the player.
He said:
"He's exactly the player we expected to get. Super boy, super player. You saw so many things of his ability last night. For him still it's a new environment but from a tactical point of view it was an outstanding game. We have to think about what we do now because he played last night more than we thought. It was a big step for him. To come into that game in that kind of battle and showing up not with skills but with mentality, fighting like crazy, that was a superstar."
