Manchester United could have 11 players doubtful for the upcoming clash vs Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Juan Mata, Fred, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Eric Bailly only returned to club training on Monday, while Bruno Fernandes began his work at the Aon Training Complex over the weekend.
Phil Jones is also back in training, but unlikely to be picked for United's season opener at Old Trafford in any case.
Mason Greenwood has been training alone after returning to the United Kingdom, having broken coronavirus protocols while on England duty in Iceland. Axel Tuanzebe is the only confirmed absentee for United, as he continues his rehabilitation from a long-term injury. Sergio Romero has not yet linked up with the United squad at Carrington.
Head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did not pick any of these players for United's pre-season friendly against Aston Villa last weekend, as Red Devils lost 1-0. Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and Marcus Rashford appear the only players to start for United against Palace, having all played against Villa.
