13-year-old teenager under investigation over racist abuse aimed at Son Heung-Min
13-year-old teenager is under investigation over racist abuse aimed at Tottenham star Son Heung-Min during Premier League match between Spurs and Burnley.
Burnley fan was ejected from Tottenham Hotspur stadium following his racist gestures. Both clubs are following the investigation.
Official statement from Burnley says: "Burnley Football Club would like to reiterate its zero-tolerance policy towards discrimination of any kind.
"We will continue to work with the authorities to help eradicate the growing problem of discrimination within football, and we urge all our supporters to report any such issues, in the strictest confidence, via our dedicated matchday 'Respect' text service, on 66777, or the Kick It Out App."
Tottenham beat Sean Dyche’s side 5-0. Harry Kane netted double, while Son Heung-Min, Lucas Moura and Mousa Sissoko added one each to seal a convincing win for the North London side.
