Why Alexis Sanchez is missing from Manchester United squad ahead of Tottenham clash

Alexis Sanchez is set to miss Manchester United’s clash with Tottenham on Sunday as he did not travel with the squad to London. The Chilean wasn’t seen  with the rest of United squad while training at Carrington before travelling to London. The 30-year-old was expected to recover for the match against Spursafter limping off in the second half of United’s 2-0 win over Reading but it’s obvious that he couldn’t manage to fully pass the rehabilitation period. Chris Smalling, Antonio Valencia, Matteo Darmian, Marcos Rojo and Marouane Fellaini were also absent from United’s travelling squad. But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been given a boost as Paul Pogba is set to make his return.
