Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane has hinted he expects to be fit for the Champions League final on 1 June in Madrid.
The striker watched from the stands as Tottenham booked their spot in the final with a dramatic 3-2 win over Ajax in Amsterdam.
Following the win Kane issued update on his injured knee.
"Hopefully. Rehab is going well so far," Kane told BT Sport when asked if he would be fit.
"I start straight line running this week. That’s why I was okay to straight line run today, I didn’t want to cut any corners.
"We’ll just see. So far, so good. If it carries on like it should, I’d hope to be. There’s still a few weeks to go.
"We just scored a hat-trick, we beat Man City, we beat Ajax in the semi-final," Kane continued.
"I’ve got to start training even harder and prove myself in front of the gaffer. Be back fit, and hopefully try and get a starting place."
