5 Arsenal wonderkids ready to break into Unai Emery's first-team this season

Arsenal finished fifth in the Premier League and failed to qualify for the Champions League, however, the Gunners' fans can begin to look forward to the new season. Unai Emery has still to sign a player this summer, with the likes of Petr Cech, Aaron Ramsey and Danny Welbeck all exiting the Emirates Stadium. The Spaniard has plenty of good young players from the Gunners academy to call upon. Mirror Football provided a list with five youngsters, who are ready to break into Emery's first-team. They left out the likes of Eddie Nketiah, Joe Willock, Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe as they all started games for Emery last season. Reiss Nelson Reiss Nelson was sent on loan to Hoffenheim last season and he scored seven goals in 23 games and picked up some Champions League appearances. Xavier Amaechi Amachi described on the Arsenal website as "a thrilling dribbler with a wand of a left foot". He was reportedly upset at being left out of the 23-man squad for the Europa League final in Baku last month, and so Emery might be under pressure to involve him more in pre-season. Tyreece John-Jules The young forward scored in the first-team's friendly against Al-Nasr in Dubai in March. He has been tipped to follow in the footsteps of fellow forward Eddie Nketiah, who is also his housemate. Tolaji Bola Bola could be able to strengthen Arsenal's Left-back position. The 20-year-old is adept at getting forward, and will look to contribute to Gunners attacks. Zech Medley Central defender Medley made three appearances from the bench for the first-team last season.
