Manchester City's summer transfer plans received a huge boost after their UEFA Champions League ban was overturned. The Cityzens were handed a two-year ban from Champions League and a €30m fine after breaching Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations. But it was revoked.
Now Manchester City will not only be able to keep their star players, but they will look to bring in stars, who could help win more trophies next season. Here are five players who could join City and boost Pep Guardiola's side.
Real Sociedad winger
Mikel Oyarzabal is one of them, as he is one of the most exciting Spanish attackers. He is an excellent reader of the game and can also play as a playmaker in wider areas. He will also be a potential replacement for Leroy Sane, who left the club for Bayern Munich. Oyarzabal's interplay and ability to pick apart a defence with passes could suit well with the likes of Kevin De Bruyne.
Manchester City have long been linked with a move for Bayern Munich centre-back
David Alaba, who has been with the German club for over a decade. Alaba could suit in right into Guardiola's side which displays great versatility on the pitch. Alaba could provide cover for Rodri and Ilkay Gundogan.
Valencia star
Ferran Torres is set to complete a switch to Manchester City this summer, having been convinced by the plan of Pep Guardiola, according to SPORTBILD. Torres, predominantly operating as a right-sided midfielder, has shown a combination of exceptional abilities. He scored six goals and has created six assists in all competitions, this stats aren't as flashy but it's good. Torres could fit in well amongst City's group of talented individuals.

Manchester City could receive a huge boost if they will complete the signing of Leicester City left-back
Ben Chilwell. Leicester City reluctant to sell him, and on the other hand, Chelsea are also interested in the player. Chilwell enjoyed an impressive campaign and he played a crucial role in Leicester's flying start to the season. He could fill the void which is left by Benjamin Mendy, who has missed over 80 games of football since his move to Manchester.
And finally, Napoli centre-back
Kalidou Koulibaly is the fifth star. The Senegalese has proved himself as one of the most dominant defenders in the world. Koulibaly's intelligence and anticipation on the pitch helps him be in the right place at the right time to shut out a building attack. The 29-year-old's leadership qualities could have a significant influence on the City defence as they lack that after the departure of Vincent Kompany.
