5 possible destinations for Henrikh Mkhitaryan after quitting Arsenal

Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been linked with a shock move away from Arsenal in the summer transfer window. The Armenian international is currently earning £180,000-a-week salary and is regarded as one of the club’s highest earners and Arsenal look to free up some funds for new recruits. Ahead of summer transfer window head coach  Unai Emery has his eye on a new left back, centre midfielder, attacking midfielder and central defender and could sign players only if they sell the highest earners. There are 5 possible destinations that Henrikh Mkhitaryan could head to after exiting from Arsenal.

1. Any Chinese club

If Mkhitaryan leaves Arsenal he could head to the Chinese Super League, whoch is a populat destination for aging players due to lucrative offers.

2. Borussia Dortmund

Mkhitaryan could return to his former club Borussia Dortmund. He left the Bundesliga club back in 2016 and could return there should Arsenal part ways with the Aremenian.

3. Everton

The Toffees have had a disappointing season given the excitement following their summer spending spree and could move for the Armenian in a few months.

4. Any Turkish club

It’s less possible but Turkish clubs Galatasaray and Fenerbahce could also bud for Mkhitaryan should he decide to leave Arsenal.

5. Any Japanese club

The Arsenal man could follow in Andres Iniesta and Fernando Torres footsteps, who moved to Japan in recent months.
