Jorginho joined Chelsea in the summer of 2018 from Napoli as ex-Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has made him his first signing.
However, under the Italian coach Jorginho has not been in his best form. In total, he has made 54 appearances under Sarri in all competitions and has scored only twice.
Sarri left the club one season later and joined Juventus, while Frank Lampard replaced him at Stamford Bridge.
Lampard's arrival changed Jorginho's role and value a lot. Stats speak itself: 7 goals and 2 assists in 37 games.
However, Jorginho's role has come under question again when Lampard started to give time to Billy Gilmour.
Moreover, Juventus and Sarri expressed their interest to sign Jorginho.
But here are five reasons why Chelsea should keep him at Stamford Bridge.
Connection in the dressing room
Jorginho is the club's vice-captain and it's not an accidental decision. The Italian has the ability to be a popular member of the dressing room. The player is a great link for youngsters and he also has the respect of the senior players. Lampard could use that effect once again if more youngsters make their way into the senior team.
