£62m star snubs Arsenal to join Liverpool

Earlier this month, it has been reported that Arsenal was interested in Bayern Munich midfielder James Rodriguez. According to Don Balon (via CaughtOffside), Arsenal are set to face a competition for the midfielder from Premier League rivals Liverpool. The report claims that Rodriguez has decided to accept an offer to move to Anfield. It has also been reported that Liverpool have outbid Arsenal by offering £62million. James Rodriguez may have struggled in spells at both Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, but has long been considered as one of the top attacking midfield players in Europe. James, whose contract is set to expire this summer, has scored 3 goals in 11 matches overall this season.
