Adrien Rabiot, who has long been linked with a move to Manchester United, is set to seal a move to Juventus within the next 24 hours after he agreed terms with the Italian champions.
The France International refused to renew his Paris Saint-Germain deal last season and its expires on June 30th.
According to
Gianluca Di Marzio, United offered Rabiot a higher salary but the player wants to play in the Champions League and he fell out with the hierarchy at Juventus.
Rabiot appeared to hint at a move to Italy during a recent interview with
Corriere dello Sport.
“It’s true, Juventus have looked for me. We are talking to each other. I like Italy so much. Being in this place is wonderful, you rest and you will regenerate. A demanding season awaits me,” said Rabiot.
“We are evaluating, we cannot say anything. I do not know yet. Juventus are a great club where every good player would want to go. Manchester United? It is the same. I have to decide, I’m on holiday for now.”
