Africa Cup of Nations: Who are the favourites to win this year’s tournament?

Africa Cup of Nations starts on June 21 in Egypt.  This is the fifth time that Egypt will host the African Cup after 1959, 1974, 1986 and 2006 to become the country that has hosted it for the most times in the continent. Egypt only awarded the competition in January after it was taken away from original hosts Cameroon because of security and preparation concerns. Usually staged in January, AFCON has been moved by CAF chiefs to June, to ensure it no longer disrupts the European domestic championships. The 32nd edition of the tournament has been expanded, with 24 teams taking part instead of the usual 16. The Pharaohs have won the competition seven times - but not since 2010 - and lost to Cameroon in 2017 final. Liverpool forward, Champions League winner, Premier League Golden Shoe holder Mohamed Salah is the best-known player in the Egypt squad and he will lead his side to the eight victories. The Pharaohs are favourites to win the tournament.  Javier Aguirre’s side are priced at odds of 5.00 to clinch title according to VBET. FIFA Jurgen Klopp will watch the tournament with excitement, as another star of his team will shine in the Dark Continent. Sadio Mane of Liverpool and Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli will lead Senegal National team. The Lions of Teranga are priced at odds of 7.00 to win the tournament according to VBET. FIFA Ghana National team won the tournament four times and they are third favourites to win the title in Egypt. Thomas Partey will lead James Kwesi Appiah’s side. Atletico Madrid midfielder has earned comparisons with Michael Essien and is now the heartbeat of Ghana. Black Stars are priced at odds of 8.00 to win the tournament according to VBET. GHANA FF AFCON have been in the hands of Nigeria national team third times in history. They are fourth favourites to win the 32nd edition of the championship. Arsenal star Alex Iwobi and John Obi Mikel will lead the side during the tournament. Gernot Rohr’s Super Eagles are priced at odds of 8.00 to win Africa Cup Of Nations, according to VBET. FIFA During the African Cup of Nations you can also watch the likes of Manchester City’s Riyad Mahrez (Algeria), Hakim Ziyech (Morocco) of Ajax, Liverpool star Naby Keita(Guinea) and Lyon’s Nicolas Pepe(Ivory Coast), who was arguably the best player in Ligue 1 for the 2018/19 season. Egyptian king Mohamed Salah is the favourite to be the top-goal scorer of the tournament.   His odds to score the most amount of goals is 5.50, while his Liverpool teammate Sadio Mane is the second favourite with odds of 9.00, according to VBET.
