Gianluca Di Marzio has revealed, Kalidou Koulibaly’s agent had ‘dinner‘ with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis and confirmed Manchester City have a ‘concrete‘ interest in signing the Senegalese international.
Koulibaly is currently one of the most highly sought-after defensive talents in Europe. City now firmly in the hunt for his signature as confirmed by agent Fali Ramadani.
Di Marzio has now backed up these claims – going on to state that the player’s representative is fully aware of Txiki Begiristain’s interest.
However, according to this report, City are unwilling to spend the €75 million (to secure his signature.
The £193,000-per-week ace is one of the many star players linked with a move to the Etihad, as the Daily Mail claim City are watching Lautaro Martinez, David Alaba and Ferran Torres.
