Alex Iwobi makes big Petr Cech claim following goalkeeper’s decision to retire

Alex Iwobi has claimed that Petr Cech could have played on for another "three or four years" following his decision to retire at the end of the season. The ex-Chelsea man has lost his place in the team this campaign to Bern Leno and eventually decided to put an end to his career. The announcement certainly came as a shock to Arsenal fans and Iwobi himself was also taken aback. "I was [surprised] because he always looks good in training and every time he plays in a match," Iwobi told Sky Sports News. "When he announced he was retiring I was like 'wow, you could have another three or four years the way that you're playing'. "But we have to respect his decision and we'll have to do our best to make sure he ends his career on a high."
