Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has trained outside for the first time since he damaged the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee. He suffered the devastating injury in the Champions League last season but now he seems to have overcome a major hurdle.
Chamberlain missed the majority of the season but it seems the former Arsenal star may be back sooner than many expected.
Yesterday he posted a picture of himself running outside with two coaches at the Reds' Melwood training ground. With it he included the caption: "That feeling when you’re finally back out on the grass for the first time in 8 months."
It’s vivid that he certainly appears to be on the road to recovery, despite his right foot still not feeling up to scratch.
