The Reds secured Champions League glory for the sixth time in their history and also came close to securing the Premier League title.
But their success came at a price for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain - as the fine form of Andy Robertson saw the full-back saw him win a bet with his team-mate.
Oxlade-Chamberlain revealed how he now has to put a framed Robertson shirt in his living room alongside one of Lionel Messi's.
In a video interview in which he did an
amusing Lie Detector test on Liverpool's YouTube channel , Oxlade-Chamberlain said: "I do have a deal with him about assists!.
"The deal was if he gets 10 Premier League assists [last] season I will get a framed Robertson shirt put up in my house next to Messi's.
"I'm in trouble boys, that's not something you want on your wall."
Now the former Arsenal player is set to build on an impressive first season in a red shirt which was curtailed by injury.
