Arsenal's Alexandre Lacazette is reportedly linked with a move away from the Emirates, with Barcelona, Juventus and Atletico Madrid interested in signing him.
A couple of years ago, Barcelona-based publication
Mundo Deportivo stated Lacazette's form in the 2018/19 season alerted the then-La Liga champions in regards to a potential move.
The Frenchman picked up the club's player of the year award after netting 19 goals as well as registering 10 assists in 46 appearances across all competitions that season.
And judging by his response to the rumours at the time, it would appear that Lacazette would be open to joining Barcelona.
"It is flattering!," he told Telefoot, as per Get French Football News when asked about the La Liga outfit's reported interest.
And according to
football.london, the Gunners are more than happy to let the Frenchman leave, who joined from Lyon for a then-club record £46.5m fee in the 2017 summer transfer window, leave if the right offer comes in.
