Alisson admits Serie A side tried to hijack his transfer from Liverpool

Alisson Becker has revealed that Napoli tried to hijack his transfer from Liverpool back in 2018. The 27-year-old joined Liverpool in the summer of 2018 for a reported £65m fee. In an exclusive interview with The Independent, ahead of the Reds Champions League clash with Napoli today, November 27, Alisson said: “Napoli tried to bid for me. "The president came to me, but if I went to Naples from Roma, I was going to put myself in a tough situation in Italy. “It’s not an official derby, but there’s a big rivalry between the teams.
