Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson caught the eye by chipping the ball over an incoming Anthony Knockaert in Liverpool’s win over Brighton.
Klopp is concerned his players are relying on the keeper's footwork too much during dangerous moments. It's not so much the German doesn't trust Alisson's footwork, it seems he was more concerned by the fact his Liverpool team were relying too heavily on it.
"I didn't have kittens but of course there was a different heart-rate at that moment," explained Klopp. "It was not for showing off. It was the right decision in that moment.
"Obviously nobody is really used to that and that's why there was this surprise and then it was all good again.
"Too often in the second half we put him in a situation where we needed him in a similar situation by playing back passes in the wrong moments, stuff like that, it made no sense.
"He is very confident and very good with the ball and that helps us massively, but he cannot be the main solution in the last 10 minutes. That makes no sense.
