Andrew Robertson tells what is wrong with Liverpool after Manchester United draw

Andrew Robertson believes Liverpool need to start respecting themselves by playing more positively. Liverpool failed to go three points clear at the top of the table against Manchester United with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane failing to find their spark. It seems that Robertson knows how his teammates can rediscover their confidence. “We need to get used to teams doing that now. It’s two top top-quality teams have done that to us in the last week – Bayern Munich and Man United, it doesn’t get much bigger than that,” said Robertson. “I think something we’re struggling with is that we need to start respecting ourselves. These teams are showing us the respect and we need to use that as a positive. “They’ve shown us the respect of sitting back and being a bit more defensive than they have been since the manager’s took over, we need to use that as a positive rather than a negative. It’s maybe something we need to work on. I’ve never seen Lukaku dropping so deep in my life but that’s the respect they kind of showed us. “Rashford and Lukaku also made it hard for both full-backs to go at the same time. It was clever from them.” “But luckily we didn’t hit on the counter-attack, which they’ve been so good at, I think we were quite good at that, definitely a positive we can take. ‘But in front of goal it was disappointing.” Jurgen Klopp’s side take on Watford on Wednesday before an emotionally charged Merseyside derby against Everton at Goodison Park this weekend.
