Andy Robertson has revealed why Liverpool keep scoring late goals as the Reds won 2-1 over Aston Villa during yesterday's Premier League game.
Robertson scored the equalizer in the 87th minute as Villa opened the score in the first half, while Sadio Mane scored the winner in the 90+4'.
“We are getting quite good at this!" said Robertson. “I don’t think the fans’ nerves can maybe keep with us just now but we have scored a lot of last-minute and late goals.
“Like we said last season as well, it’s all about the work that goes into pre-season and we worked so hard to get fit and we believe we can go right to the end, and we went 95/96 minutes and that’s why when teams start to get tired we kind of find our second gear and we started getting good chances."
Liverpool's upcoming game will be in the Champions League against Genk on November 5.
