Anthony Joshua has given a hopeful update on the Tyson Fury fight. The IBF, WBA and WBO champion is set to face WBC champion Fury. AJ tweeted on Tuesday: “Another positive meeting with 258 Management. They’ve informed me things are shaping up nicely. They will be sharing the update with Eddie [Hearn] and you’ll be hearing from me soon.” Promoter Eddie Hearn and Fury’s co-promoter Bob Arum have been working through the remaining issues while exchanging contracts. Hearn told the Boxing News Podcast prior to this: “There will be some [minor issues] when you go down to the changing rooms and that. But that’s the stuff that you work through to resolve it. When you talk about Deontay Wilder vs Joshua [negotiations], we never even had a draft contract. “With this it’s – all the points have been discussed, the contract’s been drafted, it’s been received, it’s going backwards and forwards with minor points. I actually don’t see any way this fight falls apart.”
