Anthony Joshua's world title defence against Kubrat Pulev won't be held in the UK, claims promoter Bob Arum.
The heavyweight clash was due to be announced for June 20 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
However, Pulev’s promoter Arum claims, he will not allow his fighter to travel to London.
"Joshua has to fight Pulev and we have a big problem with the site," he told World Boxing News . "For Pulev and Joshua, the British Board are not being very co-operative.
"Pulev is now going to go to purse bid because he doesn't want to fight in the United Kingdom. We are just not going to do the fight in the UK. Because we don’t get a level playing field."
Joshua regained his three belts last December when he beat Andy Ruiz JR in their rematch.
