Since Mesut Ozil's departure from Arsenal to Fenerbahce this January, things are not going so well.
The Turkish side have lost three out of the six matches Ozil has been involved in, been knocked out of the Turkish Cup and lost crucial ground to Galatasaray and Besiktas in the title race. The 32-year-old is yet to score or assist for his new club.
Fener were expected to get their Turkish Super Lig challenge back on course on Thursday night when they took on Antalyaspor where Ozil's former club and international teammate Lukas Podolski currently plies his trade.
The former Arsenal man found himself in front of the goal and had a chance to equalise the score, however, ridiculously missed it.
Things then went from bad to worse for Ozil in the second half as he was stretchered off the pitch with what looked like a nasty ankle injury.
A dramatic finale then saw Fener win a penalty, only to have it overturned by VAR in the dying moments of the match.
