Unai Emery has taken a 23-man squad with him for the trip. With a number of senior players away with their national teams, Emery has included several youngsters in his travelling squad. Players such as Charlie Gilmour, Xavier Amaechi, Olayinka Olayinka, Dominic Thompson and Tyreece John-Jules train alongside the likes of Alexandre Lacazette, Mesut Ozil and Laurent Koscielny during the trip.
