Arsenal have been handed a major blow on the transfer of Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
The Toffees are reportedly on the edge of appointing Frank Lampard as their head coach, after sacking Rafa Benitez.
According to Daily Star, Lampard is a massive admirer of Calvert-Lewin and has already made it clear to the club’s hierarchy that he must not be sold.
In his interview for the job, the former Chelsea boss revealed his intention is to build the team around powerhouse Calvert-Lewin.
This comes as a huge blow for Arsenal, who are in desperate chase of a striker after missing out on Dusan Vlahovic.
