Arsenal identify £35m replacement for Mesut Ozil

Arsenal have stepped up their pursuit of PSV ace Hirving Lozano, according to TMW. Unai Emery is looking for a replacement for Mesut Ozil. Emery has made it clear Mesut Ozil isn’t in his long-term plans. The Gunners are short of funds this January, and it appears Emery has looked at Ozil’s £350,000-a-week salary as something that can be cut from the wage bill. Arsenal have drummed up their interest in the Mexican forward, but may be put off by the need to fork out more than £35million to sign him this month.
