Arsenal make £38.5m bid for midfielder

Arsenal have reportedly made a £38.5m bid for Sassuolo and Italy star, Manuel Locatelli, with Juventus still behind in their own offer. According to Sportsmediaset, the Gunners have bid around 40m Euros (£38.5m) for Locatelli, which is reported to satisfy Sassuolo, although they are holding out for Juventus to make a move too. The Italy international is believed to favour a move to Juve. But there is a growing belief in the Arsenal camp that they could muscle in on the deal.
