Arsenal make contact over 19-year-old with 62 senior appearances; PL rival also interested

Arsenal have made a contact for Empoli midfielder Samuele Ricci, according to a report from Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb. Since making his debut for the Serie B side, the 19-year-old has already managed to impress, making 60 appearances for the club's first team. This term he has scored two goals and provided four assists for his club. Now, according to Tuttomercatoweb, Gunners have shown their interest in the youngster and have already made a contact for him. Another Premier League club, Leicester City, are also in rush for the Italian professional. Ricci's current contract with Empoli expires in 2022 so the teenager's transfer is quite possible this summer if the player decides to leave.
