Arsenal star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang deleted his Twitter and returned to the platform less than 24 hours later when the footballing world was focused on the decisions surrounding the European Super League. The Gunners were one of the 12 teams that were involved in the ESL, however, they have withdrawn from the competition.
In his final post, Aubameyang wrote: "I ain't missed you Twitter. So we not allowed to talk about anything?
"Only football and Super League? No more talking about Covid?! Or online abuse or racism. Nice. Even Sick (without fone) I was feeling better than now with fone.
"Let me turn it off. See u."
Now he has reactivated his Twitter and his previous tweet has been deleted. He returned and tweeted: "Got a bit too emotional last night. Bottom line is - yesterday was a big day for football and our fans and an even bigger day for social justice."
During this season the Arsenal captain has made overall 33 appearances in which he has scored 14 goals and provided 2 assists. He has missed the Gunners' last few games as he recovers from malaria.
