Gabriel Martinelli is set to miss the rest of the season due to fitness issues, according to The Athletic journalist David Ornstein.
The Brazil international picked up ankle ligament damage during Arsenal's 3 - 0 loss to Brighton in the Premier League on Sunday. He was substituted after playing just 20 minutes for the club.
Ornstein now claims Martinelli will now be unavailable for the Gunners' last two decisive matches, and he is only expected to return to action for the pre-season games a number of weeks later.
