Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has provided an update on the squad's fitness ahead of their clash with Fulham.
The Gunners' manager confirmed that Gabriel Jesus is fit to start in their third match of the Premier League 2023/24 season. "He's ready to go", said the Spaniard.
Returning after recovering from a knee surgery the Brazil international is expected to boost the Gunners' squad. Jesus was absent for Arsenal's first two matches, which they won against Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace.
Arteta expressed that it was unfortunate for Jesus to require another surgery after the promising preseason he had. Eddie Nketiah has been filling up the gap and playing in Jesus' position during his absence.
