Arsenal "still interested in Danilo Pereira"

The Premier League 2018/19 fixtures will get under way on Saturday 11^th August.  Ahead of the season Arsenal want to sign new players. According to Portuguese outlet O Jogo, Arsenal are continuing to monitor the progress of Porto defender Danilo Perreira. The Brazil international has been linked with a move to Emirates on numerous occasions over recent years, with Arsenal’s interest in the player to stretch as far back as 2011. Arsenal have concerns over the 26-year-old’s fitness, though, after he was ruled out this summer’s World Cup due to an Achilles injury. The Gunners will continue to track Danilo’s recovery as they press on with their transfer plans while also looking for a new manager, the former Sevilla and PSG boss Unai Emery now expected to take over from Arsene Wenger.
