Arsenal are targeting £10million La Liga defender for January transfer window

January transfer window is getting closer and as Unai Emery is dealing with Rob Holding's season-ending injury, Arsenal is targeting Valladolid defender Fernando Calero. Except Rob Holding, Konstantinos Mavropanos is also currently sidelined as well as Laurent Koscielny. Calero has also been linked with Sevilla and Borussia Dortmund. Cadena Ser reports that his contract contains a £10million release clause. (per Mirror) The defender has started in all 15 games of La Liga. Valladolid currently is 12th in the league with 20 points.
