Arsenal to miss out on £70m striker as Newcastle United make their move

Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing a striker in the summer, with Everton's Dominic Calvert-Lewin heavily linked. However, Gunners may face a strong competition from Newcastle United, which have new wealthy owners. According to The Telegraph, Callvert-Lewin is highly thought among both the current Magpies hierarchy and those likely to be appointed at St. James' Park. Arsenal were recently sent a warning with regards to the 24-year-old from Carlton Palmer, who told This Is Futbol that the Gunners had no chance in signing the striker unless they were willing to pay: "60million or £70 million."
