Arsenal and Tottenham hold talks with Sampdoria defender

Arsenal and Tottenham held talks with Sampdoria officials on Thursday to discuss the potential transfer of defender Joachim Andersen. The 22-year-old, who moved to Italy last year, has seen the likes of Spurs, Juventus and Inter Milan all linked with a swoop for the €30million-rated star, according to Calciomercato. Arsenal are also keen, and the report goes on to state that Sampdoria are keen to push on with a sale and that club officials arrived in London on Thursday to open negotiations with both Premier League clubs. Andersen has made 13 appearances this season.
