Arsenal are willing to sign Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham this summer, according to
The Telegraph.
The Gunners have mostly been linked with defenders or defence-minded midfielders for most of the summer, and now they are finally being linked to a forward.
The target is Tammy Abraham, who looks like he is set to leave Stamford Bridge since Thomas Tuchel's arrival.
John Terry, who coached the player at Bodymoor Health after playing with him at Aston Villa, previously said about his old teammate.
"I know him very well having played with him at Chelsea. He’s been incredible here. He was the Academy player that when coming over to train with the first team, me and Gary Cahill used to think, ‘oh no, here we go!", Terry told Aston Villa website in 2019.
“As one of the older ones in the group, I just wanted a nice easy day against a middle-aged striker! Tammy always posed a big threat and I knew he’d go on and do well.”
The Chelsea legend has also once told that Thierry Henry is the one player who he feared the most on pitch, which means that he considers Abraham a really spectacular player.
The 23-year-old made 89 Premier League appearances and scored 23 goals.
