Arsenal youth coach Alex Nichols has been banned and fined by the FA after his "aggressive" behavior towards a female teenage referee.
According to the FA's written seasons the youth coach has left the female referee, described as a 'child referee', feeling "humiliated, belittled and bullied" during the U9's game.
It was alleged that Mr Nichols shouted "Oh my god!" and "Are you having a laugh?!", and continued this behavior after his side conceded what he perceived to be an offside goal, before later being denied a penalty.
Nichols was disciplined immediately, even before the club received a note of charge from the FA. The youth coach was removed from coaching duties and excluded for a number of Academy matches in line with the club's safeguarding procedures as well as he was given an official disciplinary warning from Arsenal.
