Arsenal’s hopes of landing Denis Suarez have been vanished. Unai Emery was keen to reunite with Suarez, with whom he had previously worked at Sevilla.
But Arsenal are lacking transfer funds as they can sign players on loan with Barcelona unwilling to sanction a loan switch.
As such, over the weekend Arsenal turned their attention to a potential loan deal for Ivan Perisic.
And according to
Mundo Deportivo, it is the Gunners Head of Football, Raul Sanllehi, who is being blamed by Barcelona bosses.
Sanllehi joined Arsenal 14 months ago, having previously been a long-time director at camp Nou.
But it's claimed that Barcelona chiefs believe he tried to turn a deal for Suarez into a game, making it a personal matter.
