Former Arsenal head coach Arsene Wenger has spoken out on Laurent Koscielny and admitted that he was surprised with the player’s decision.
The 33-year-old refused to join Arsenal on their pre-season tour of the USA as he is eying an exit from the Emirates Stadium this summer.
Arsenal will open disciplinary proceedings against Koscielny, who is training with Arsenal’s youth players at London Colney.
Arsene Wenger, who signed Koscielny in a £10 million deal in 2010 has revealed that the defender never gave him a problem during his time at Arsenal. “I am very surprised by the current situation,” Wenger told L’Equipe. MORE: FOOTBALL
