Ashley Cole has raved about Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham following the youngster's performance for England against Iran national.
The Three Lions celebrated a massive 6 - 2 win over the rivals in the first group stage game in the World Cup. Bellingham opened the score to give Gareth Southgate's side the lead on Monday.
Cole was impressed by the midfielder's display, claiming the 19-year-old showed "no fear" on the pitch.
“Just mature. Showed no fear, always willing to get on the ball and show his qualities. I think he showed his all-round play, he can win tackles, regain the ball, he was controlled in his passing and variety in his passing,” former Premier League defender told Sky Sports, via The Chelsea Chronicle.
“He was box-to-box and of course he showed great maturity with a great header to score. I think he’s coming into his own now.”
