Aston Villa have not started the 2022/23 Premier League campaign in their best form. The club have registered seven defeats, five wins and three draws so far this season.
Villa played their latest games under the newly-appointed boss Unai Emery. After the first 15 matches, the club are sitting in 12th place in the domestic league with 18 points.
A lot of work has to be done at Villa Park in order to return the club to its winning ways, and Emery will now have a one-month World Cup break for it.
Aston Villa's Premier League fixtures will resume following the World Cup 2022 which will take place in Qatar from November 20 to December 18.
Emery's side are expected to face Villarreal in the club friendlies on December 16 and return to action for the league games right after Christmas.
