Aston Villa survive, Manchester United miss out on Champions League: Football Manager simulates suspended 2019/20 Premier League season

Premier League football matches have been suspended in England until due to COVID-19. It's currently unclear when the games will be resumed, but UEFA have ordered all domestic leagues to end before June 30th. Liverpool are leading the Premier League table, however, it's uncertain if they will be crowned as Champions for the first time in 30 years. Using the coronavirus break, TalkSport have simulated the Premier League in the game, Football Manager 2020. According to simulation, Liverpool won the Premier League and they secured their title after 1-0 victory over Brighton and Roberto Firminho was the scorer. The Reds ended their season with three defeats to Watford, Everton and Manchester City. Norwich City will be relegated, while Watford and West Ham will pick victories to secure their place in the next season's Premier League. Southampton will also remain in the Premier League. Brighton and Bournemouth, meanwhile, will join Norwich in the relegation zone. Aston Villa will guarantee their place in the Premier League by just one point. According to simulation, Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be sacked after failing to guide the Red Devils to Champions League qualification as they will end the league in the fifth place. Arsenal will climb from ninth to seventh and will finish ahead of Tottenham. Manchester City will remain in second place. Chelsea, meanwhile, will climb in the third place. Leicester City under Brandan Rodgers will go down to fourth. Source: TalkSport
