Barcelona make Victor Lindelof enquiry, Manchester United respond

Barcelona have reportedly made enquiries to Manchester United over a deal for Victor Lindelof. Ernesto Valverde wants to sign a new central defender after seemingly missing out on top target Matthijs de Ligt. Mundo Deportivo reports the Spanish champions contacted United earlier this month to explore a potential deal for Lindelof. The Red Devils made it clear to Barcelona that Lindelof was not for sale but that has not put the La Liga giants off, who have continued to make their interest clear. Barcelona believe the failure to qualify for the Champions League could see the Swedish defender look to leave Old Trafford.
