Barcelona president speaks out on Neymar transfer saga

PSG forward Neymar failed to make his return to Barcelona during this summer transfer window and is expected to join the La Liga side in January. However, Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has ruled out the player's return in winter. During a press-conference, Bartomeu said: "He's not in the plans for January. Barcelona couldn't meet PSG's demands [this summer]. "Barcelona never offered players for Neymar, it was PSG that asked for them.We did everything possible to sign him. "It's a fact that Neymar asked PSG to negotiate only with Barcelona.The signing wasn't easy, on a economic or social level.
