Bayern Munich player Thomas Muller has been linked with a move to Manchester United.
Amid the speculations, Bayern Munich chiefs Hasan Salihamidzic and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge spoke out on the possible transfer of Muller to Premier League side.
Speaking with Sky Sport, Salihamidzic said: "That’s a story you want to write [Muller being sold].
“We have two players out for months and you are trying to tell us to sell a player. There’s no reason for doing this.”
While Bayern Munich CEO Rummenigge stated that he "cannot imagine" Muller being sold in the near future.
During this season the 30-year-old has scored one goal in his 12 appearances so far for the Bundesliga side.
