Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness has declared that the club will not be sending any players on German international duty if Manuel Neuer is dropped.
Neuer’s position is under threat from Barcelona keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who has voiced his frustrations over a lack of playing time for his country. Neuer was previously regarded as one of the world's greatest goalkeepers, but his form has declined in recent years following a serious injury.
"Before that takes place, we won't be sending any more national players," Hoeness told Bild . "We will never accept that there will be a change here."
When asked if he has held a conversation with Low, Hoeness added:
"He'll already hear what we've said, his ears will ring."
