Roy Keane thinks Luke Shaw should be England's first-choice left-back at the European Championships due to his performances with Manchester United.
As Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to miss the Euro 2020 because of injury, Gareth Southgate would have few options, with Shaw and Ben Chilwell being among them on the left side.
And Keane believes Southgate should select Shaw over the Chelsea man for the Euros based on his impressive season with the Red Devils.
“I think it would have to be Shaw,” he said on
ITV.
“I think consistently this year he has been outstanding, going forward like modern full-backs, and defensively no one has really got the better of him.”
